Introduction:
“Government Primary School for Girls.” Is located near Daroghawala. The locality where the school is situated is called “Warah Gujrah”. The condition of the school is really dismal and it gives a clear picture of how our lower class is being deprived of the basic education by our government.
The place is a mess with no sanitation, no functional bathrooms, no electricity, not even a single drop of water to drink, and the list just goes on and on.
Mrs. Riffat Parveen, the Principal told us that she had lodged many complaints with the concerned authorities, but there was no response. She provided us with the following wish list.

Their Needs:

Wish list
Estimated cost
Bath room to be constructed
Rs.25,000
Floor repairing
Rs.30,000
Furniture for classes
Rs.8,000

Project Status:
LCD group for Fall 2005 provided furniture to this school which included 8 sets of benches & tables, (each set can seat 3 children) and tables and chairs for the teachers. The bad parts of the building repaired & painted and the path leading to the school was also repaired. As there was an open drain flowing through the middle of the road, the students had the sewage pipe installed there before the path was fixed.
