Project Description
In our society young street children and orphans are neglected, shunned and not given respective rights. Due to negligence these children indulge in immoral activities for making a living and are always battling for a respectable position. Mostly they are victims of child abuse and molestation hence, making them psychologically crippled at a very young age.
Our students will be working closely with PAHCHAAN (Protection and Help of Children against Abuse and Neglect), a non-government organization based in Pakistan working for the rights of street urchins and orphans. This center has 15-20 children between the ages of 9-15 years. Our group will provide them computer education and teach them basic English, Urdu, Maths, religious studies and discuss everyday issues of life. They will provide them with latest books/reading material. This group also plans to renovate their entertainment room by painting it with bright colors, putting in board games and installing computers. Our students also intend to help these children to discover their innate talents. For example, a child who is interested in singing would be provided with the platform to develop and utilize his talent.

To help these underprivileged children discover their potential and bring some happiness in their life..
