Introduction:
The school is located in Al Hamd Colony of Allama Iqbal Town,
Lahore. There are about 120 students studying in the school. The
learning
facilities consist of four classrooms and eight teachers. The
owners of the school are Mr. and Mrs. Rehman .The latter is also
Principal of the school. The school lacks basic necessities such
as clean drinking water, proper blackboards, emergency lights,
proper paint and their furniture is in poor condition. The staff
of the school is also not well qualified, as would be expected.
Another major problem is the fact that two classes are being held
in the same room. These problems are severely hindering the learning
experience of the students.

Project
Status:
LCD group Spring 2009 provided the school
with a UPS, white boards, books, curtains, water cooler and furniture.
Students themselves painted the walls and raised money from donations
and fundraising activities. The group members also taught Mathematics
and English to the students of Al Hajvery Public School. They
also arranged a cricket match and a movie for their entertainment.
The principal and students of this institution are very happy
with these changes.
