Project Description
Consumer protection has gained world wide acceptance as the
world progressed from the "Product-oriented stage of doing
business to the "market-oriented stage". Consumers
are the most important asset for any business and businesses
should be responsible for providing promised quality products.
If they fail to do so, they should be held accountable for it.
Different developed countries have laws regarding the protection
of consumers. Pakistan followed suit and it had its first act
in the shape of the Islamabad Consumer Protect Act 1997".
