Introduction:
Government Arif High School for Boys is a large school, located in Dharampura, with a reasonably-sized library. The library itself is in dire need of a makeover: the roofs are covered with layers of dust, there are broken windows, the book cupboards need touching up with paint and general fixing as well. The chairs and reading tables are old and worn out. There are 684 students in the school, so the class sizes are large.


Their Needs:
The principal presented the following wish list:

1- Library books (Rs. 2, 000/-)
2- Library furniture& labor (Rs. 18, 140/-)
3- Paint and Labor (Rs. 10, 000/-)
4- Electrical (Rs. 500/-)

Project Status:
Our students worked hard to fulfill all the wishes stated on the wish list of Arif High school. They provided library books, furniture and helped in the completion of the electricity and paint work in the library. Besides the above, they taught a faculty member how to catalog books manually and conducted awareness sessions for administration to encourage children to read.
